How safe are your skin care products?
I recently listened to a podcast on potentially problematic ingredients in skin care and other beauty products, which I think is important to be aware of.
Here is the link to the Life Kit episode, and below is a list of the main ingredients of concern.
Ingredients of concern
Phthalates in Fragrance
Be aware of the ingredient listed as 'fragrance'. It often contains phthalates used to make the scent in cosmetics more stable
Phthalates are hormone disrupters
Formaldehyde

Note it can be present in ingredients with the following prefix, word or syllables: PEG, polyethylene, polyethylene glycol, polyoxyethylene, F or oxenol
