Covid-19 safety procedures are in place

I am excited to let you know that Jade Spring Acupuncture will reopen on May 18th, 2020.

As an acupuncturist I follow strict ‘universal precautions’ as a matter of course and have procedures in place to keep my work space clean and sanitary. Additionally, all directives issued by the State of Colorado in the “Safer At Home” Public Health Order 20-28 have been implemented, and I am following CDC and OSHA guidelines.

Here are the safety measures that will be in place for future acupuncture appointments:

  • Appointments will be staggered to minimize contact between patients, and to allow for thorough cleaning between appointments.

  • Whether scheduling online or on the phone, you will be required to answer pre-screening questions before you are able to book your appointment and you may be asked these questions again when you arrive for your appointment should you schedule more than a few days ahead.

  • When you arrive at the clinic, please text 720-432-7073 to notify me that you have arrived and wait in your car. Once I am ready, I will respond to your text inviting you to meet me at the front door where I will perform a temperature check.

  • I will be wearing a mask throughout my time with you, and you will be required to wear a mask, too, including while receiving your treatment.

  • Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the office, and when you enter the clinic, you will be invited to use hand sanitizer or wash your hands before your treatment.

  • While in the clinic please be mindful of social distancing should you encounter anyone else in the common areas. Please do not bring anyone along for your appointments.

  • A new payment process system will be used which will enable contactless payment. I will only need your credit card the first time you come in and after that will be able to run payment through this new system.

  • Extra cleaning procedures have been implemented throughout the clinic and all equipment and furniture in the treatment room will be cleaned after each appointment.

  • Should you have Covid-19 symptoms, tested positive for Covid-19 or had contact with anyone with Covid-19 two weeks prior to your appointment, I will not be able to provide acupuncture to you, and ask that you do not come to the clinic. Herbal medicine can be helpful in managing these symptoms, and if you suspect or have confirmation that you have Covid-19, we can schedule a phone or video chat and herbal formulas can be mailed to you.

I look forward to welcoming you back to the clinic and providing a safe environment in which your health needs can be met.
